MV Bookkeeper Service Agreement

1. Services
We provide bookkeeping and related financial record-keeping services as described on our website or in a written agreement with you. The specific scope of services, fees, and timelines may be outlined in a separate engagement letter, proposal, or invoice.

2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information and documents needed for us to perform our services. You are responsible for reviewing all reports, statements, and filings we prepare and for notifying us promptly of any errors or concerns.

3. Fees and Payment
You agree to pay all fees for services as outlined on our website, invoices, or engagement documents. Payment terms, including due dates and accepted payment methods, will be stated on your invoice or agreement. Late payments may result in suspension or termination of services and may be subject to late fees where permitted by law.

4. Confidentiality and Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of your information. We will not disclose your non-public information to third parties except as required by law, as necessary to perform our services (such as using secure third-party tools or software), or with your explicit consent.

5. No Legal or Tax Advice
Our services are limited to bookkeeping and related support. We do not provide legal, tax, or investment advice. You should consult with a qualified attorney, tax professional, or financial advisor for advice specific to your situation.

6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Menifee Valley Bookkeeper and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the total amount of fees you paid to us for those services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Termination
Either party may terminate the services at any time, subject to any notice requirements in a separate written agreement. You remain responsible for payment of all fees for services performed up to the date of termination.

8. Governing Law
This Service Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
